What is a Buddy Ministry? Why is a Buddy Ministry an essential piece of Disability Ministry within a church? A Buddy provides one-on-one assistance, support, and friendship to children, youth or adults with disabilities so the whole family can participate as valuable members of their congregation. In this workshop we will look at different models of “Buddy Ministry.” It will also help dispel possible fears that churches may have.
